The publication process of the Prime Medical College Journal (PMCJ) is meticulously designed to uphold high-quality standards while ensuring efficiency. Upon receiving a manuscript, the corresponding author is promptly sent an acknowledgment email confirming the submission. Each manuscript undergoes a plagiarism check using advanced detection software to verify originality and adherence to ethical publishing standards. Following this, the editor conducts an initial quality review to evaluate the manuscript’s relevance and compliance with journal guidelines.
Once the preliminary checks are completed, the manuscript is forwarded for a double-blinded peer review, maintaining the confidentiality of both authors and reviewers to ensure unbiased evaluations. Based on the feedback received during this process, the editor makes a decision that is communicated to the author. Manuscripts may be accepted without revision, returned for major or minor revisions, or rejected. For accepted manuscripts, an official acceptance letter is issued after the final review and approval.
The PMCJ is dedicated to a smooth and efficient publication process, typically completed within 3-5 days, ensuring timely dissemination of significant research contributions to the medical and scientific community. This streamlined process reflects the journal’s commitment to advancing medical science through high-quality publications.
